When the task you wish to perform is unusual enough that it requires a specialist tool that does not already exist, the onus is not on the universe to provide you with that tool.Jedinhopy wrote:Midi tools should do my work.carrieres wrote:quantise the length of all note and move them manually with your mouse
The onus is on you, to either change the way you approach the task (ie use a host with step input) or to have the tool created, either by yourself or some other party.
Ive given you working solutions for both those approaches. Your failure to invest in either is your failure, your responsibility. You should do your work.

OR
You could do what other musicians do and learn to play in time.

My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Akai VIP = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.

We are the synchronizers
Send messages through time code
Midi clock rings in my mind
Machines gave me some freedom
Synthesizers gave me some wings
They drop me through twelve bit samplers
We are electronic performers
We are electronics
We need to use envelope filters
To say how we feel
Riding on magnetic waves
We search new programs for your pleasure
I want to patch my soul on your brain
B.P.M. supposed to control your heartbeats

You've been given two solutions, and you've not bothered to even try, so what do you actually expect?Jedinhopy wrote:No one understands me.

You could have done this 100 times by now instead of asking dumb questions and confusing everybody.

Click with mouse on the note, hold the button. Drag note while it snaps on the grid, let go of the button.Jedinhopy wrote:From:

Takes less time to actually DO THE WORK than to moan about it in public.
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

That's just a restatement of the problem. Not only do you know that I already know what the problem is, you also know that Ive given you two solutions for it.Jedinhopy wrote:From:whyterabbyt wrote:You've been given two solutions, and you've not bothered to even try, so what do you actually expect?Jedinhopy wrote:No one understands me.

You also know that I didnt ask 'what problem do you expect a solution for'. The question was 'what understanding do you expect when you wont use either of the two solutions you've been given'.
You're either lazy, or you dont want a solution.

did you ever try attaching your recording device to a scaffold pole to record in the thunderstorm?

It's nothing more than a failure to listen, but it's a giant sign of disrespect. If you really want to know something you'll look it up. If you really want to know something you'll do the f!cking research. Google, Youtube, w dot something...The future is at your finger tips.

Give Jedinhopy a break. He is using a special, one-of-a-kind version of FL Studio that records continuously. His version cannot stop recording. So he can't help but have these timing gaps.Jedinhopy wrote:My DAW record even when i am not preesing a button. So if i play a melody on the computer keyboard and then stop playing and waiting/thinking which note i should play next. Random empty chunks between notes is recorded.
