it works, you get some excellent kicks 8)

(obviously you have to edit them to remove initial high note, but its worth it)

I get a fairly decent kick drum on the Microbrute that is hopefully transferable to the Minibrute. All oscillators turned down, cutoff = 0, resonance = 100, brute factor = 100, Env Amt ~ +7, KBD tracking = 10%, A+S = 0, D+R = 50%, filter = LP. Move the release up and hit the keys very briefly to shift to an 808 style kick. Very slightly different flavour depending on what octave you use. Env Amt and KBD tracking are the ones that need tuning most here. I didn't use the patch panel either.

For best results, midi in a seq (overlap notes) and mess with the settings.....record the whole thing. You can get anything from subtle kicks, big bouncy ones to mad gabber kicks
8)

also, adding a bit of Tri waveform works well...

What do you get?

I'll sample mine and post the result tomorrow. My back is too knackered in the evenings to do anything much like that.
