(I Don't need a sequencer inside the drum vsti - so Tremor, Microtoniq and many other are not my favorite)
I don't like it when plugins have internal sequencers either, usually. I still like MicroTonic for its sound, and clear patterns and trigger notes via MIDI as per usual.

The only one I don't own is Fish. What is it and where do I buy it?
Anyone else using it? Can you explain it? What's so special about it?

Never heard of it and can't find it listed in the KVR data base.

It's for people who are hard of herring. They don't notice that it always goes out of tuna.

Not sure, but it was modeled after Vince Gill's drummer.

Addictive Drums (my go to):
BFD2 (hardly use, wish I hadn't bought it); I can't quite get my head around the layout.
Drum Kit Designer in Logic Pro X. I was surprised at how good the drum kits are in LPX. Very useable, imo, and if I hadn't shelled out dinerii for ADD and BFD2, I would be quite comfortable using it.

Dedicated drum instruments? Ah...Steven Slate 4, Stylus RMX, Battery 4, BFD Eco (came with the Zildjian Digital Vault collections)...I think that's it. So...4?

That doesn't count various Kontakt libraries, of course (the '80s drum machine samples in Nostalgia are a particular favorite).

Since I make 80's music I like to use the five Superwave drum and percussion modules. They are old and simple, but I like that sound, it is not as overpowered as with more modern drums.
And for more experimental drum sounds I use Psychic Modulation's Construct.

So all in all, 6 modules.

Sometimes I also use my DAW's built-in drum samples, though, mostly for acoustic drum sounds which are missing from the six modules mentioned.

Increasingly I don't use any drum sounds at all. It is strange how we often think any track must have drums, but that is not the case.
