I got the new EnergyXT 2.7 BetaV2 yesterday, and I loaded up
a hip-hop drumsample.
Before I knew it I was cutting up the
sample - stretching it and what not.
Synths: Aalto (MadronaLabs) + Disturbance x2 (U-GO)
Various FX samples

Well, you certainly glitched the heck out of that beat. Well done.
I'm probably old fashioned because I would enjoy it more if you included a bit of a tune.

Thanks for your comments and listeningFrantz wrote:Well, you certainly glitched the heck out of that beat. Well done.

I understand where your coming from. This kind of music
is something completely different than pop/rock etc.
I don't think your old fashioned, because you need a
melody/tune to be satisfied.
There is no melody so - if you need it - it surely will not
deliver in that department.
End of story.
What you are is fair and honest.
If I decide to work on it some more, it surely don't need
more glitching, but as you stated, some kind of melody/tune.
Cheers

Yes, I'm still stuck in 80s timewarp. I can't really follow glitch stuff. One day I'll catch up to you youngsters.sbj wrote: I understand where your coming from. This kind of music

I don't think you'll have to catch up. Just wait and they'll
come around.

After the first listen I thought you were simply mad, but further plays reveal that your condition has almost certainly advanced to the point where there can be little hope
I love the ringmod type effects and those warbling pitch shifts. The glitch work is awesome. Was all of that audio processing done in the new eXT beta? I had a quick 1-hour remix session in there on Monday and things were working reliably for me.
Good work

Good work
feature in EnergyXT. And yes, it was all done in the new betaV2.
Actually most of the inspiration to this track came from launcing the
new beta, since I've been working a lot in MuLab lately.
The workflow in XT is superior.
Cheers and thanks for listening
