I must admit the seafaring life has always appealed to me (in a no-experience of it romantic kinda way), despite the fact that I've always lived about as far from the sea as it's possible to get in the UK.

I haven't sailed in years but at 30 miles from the ocean I am as far from the sea than I ever wanna be...one day I hope I have a nice small boat to go harbor hopping in but first I have to get the other half into it :hihi:

Don't let this planet and its crazy critters block the view -- we are pretty far a-sea ;-)

Jamming with Rikk Agnew again, dude is so talented and he was totally getting into what we were doing, and even started playing Nirvana songs during one break. Such a thrill because he was having fun, we all were. :D So ready for Saturday night, and it looks like we'll have a decent crowd :hyper: :band: :wheee:

Bitwig: watching people lose their sh!t over it is immensely amusing.

It pretty much is.

from "whenisitoutwhenisitoutwhenisitoutwhenisitout?"
to "OMG its coming soon, it'll be awsum and teh bestest thang ever"
to "but i download teh demo 3 minutes after it came out and it doesnt have any magical unicorn; teh devs are liars and theieves and stole all my moneys and i never wanted it anyway "
To laymen, software development is something akin to wizardry. Neither time, nor effort are involved. If software is missing features they want, or has bugs, it is solely because someone has been too lazy to wave their magic wand.

You mean it doesn't work perfectly from the point of initial release on every system and with every 3rd party plugin? The end is nigh!

This whole bitwig thing passes me by. Don't need another learning curve just to use the things I already use without any problems. Good luck to them but.....bah! :P

I'm happy I don't feel the need to go through any of that :)

I miss living my the ocean. I was born in a house where I could hear the waves crashing on the shore at night from my bedroom window, and I was rarely more than a couple of miles from the ocean.

Most of my time as an adult I've lived relatively close to the ocean, but it's only the past 10 years or so that it takes me 3 or more hours to drive there. I really miss it and wish I could move back much nearer, or better still live somwhere that I could see it!
