Hi

Got a mp3 acapella & want it tobe a WAV, to make it easier to use in a track I want to write.

Any ideas or advice wots the best ( and if there's any free software ) way to do it please?

Thanx in advance,

Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

You can do that in Wavelab. Maybe Wavasaur or Audacity for free? Format Factory is another option. http://www.pcfreetime.com/

Most audio editors should be able to convert from MP3 to WAV. I'm not quite sure if Audacity can, though...

Keep in mind that it won't increase the quality...

Not really worth the trouble unless you're loading the audio file into a DAW that only accepts wave files. You won't gain any quality but converting from mp3 to wav. All you'll get is a much bigger file.

But if your DAW only accepts wav there are several free audio converters around.
