I quite enjoyed this, but thought your singer was having a hard time catching some of the notes, especially the lower ones. Was she working oustide her most comfortable range? The melody does rather leap about which makes it harder for her of course.
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

She has a pleasant voice. Folderol is right she is having trouble hitting the low notes which means the key is too low for her.
The song is good. However, it would be better if the arrangement wasn't so bland. Other than the brief opening flourish, the arrangement is just bass and pads. It sounds like No Frills Pop.

You might be right with the key being too low. I gotta watch out for that if I work with her on a next song.
