What does everyone like to use for making screen capture vids with audio?
I have experimented with Quicktime however the quality never seems that good - and the audio isnt sufficient I dont think to record a DAW...
What do people like to use if they are doing a tutorial or something with a DAW?

I've used Camtasia for Mac a little bit, I got it as part of some Mac app bundle and it works OK.
Whatever you do, be sure to use a high-quality external mic and decent preamp/interface for voiceovers, and be sure to de-click/de-noise the final audio. I can't tell you how many great-looking/terrible-sounding screencap vids there are made by people/companies who should know way better.

MacHeist bundles are good and true.
ScreenFlow is OK, Camtasia is OK, Screenium is OK...
They all have their strengths, all have their weaknesses, depends on your preference and requirements.
One can record an area of the screen and make the area follow the mouse pointer, the other one can't. One has an advanced editor with multiple lanes and effects, the other one is really basic.
...the list continues.
It seems that from Mac to Mac I'm having trouble with audio in a different one of each, SF won't record audio on one machine but on the other, and Camtasia the other way round. So... check out the demos.
ScreenFlow have moved to a "buy additional transition bundles from us" model, not sure if I really like that, keep ignoring it.

i been waiting for screenflow to come up
been using quick time and soundflower
but its a hassle to set up properly
then editing in iMovie
for me screenflow handles audio best/easiest
thanks for highlighting the bundle guys
