Sample slicing on Absynth 5 was new to me. I did RTFM and yes I read all of it (once.. ) but I probably ignorantly assumed it wouldn't offer much in the sample oscillator and focused on the granular and fractalized stuff etc while missing out on a whole lot of fun - til you came along that is.
I've been busy for hours now with my sliced Newschool "beats" through filters with frequencyshifters and ringmodulation in their feedback paths.
It's a mess but it's my mess, my beautiful mess.
