I see the last update for this program was in 2011.
Are you using a 32 bit version with a 64 bit Cubase host? That is the main reason some plugins freeze up for me. If so, use JBridge rather than Steinberg's converter, which is notorious for freezing up things.

maybe time to use another eq for your purpose?

Electri-Q is a great eq , but it got discontinued a while ago, and was known to be no super stable on some systems (despite really amazing features).

The current Cubase version has Voxengo's Curve Eq which might make a good alternative.

Guys,thanks for responses!

I think i will use ReaEq.I made preset.I opened with Cubase but i can't see all GUI.Actually it's not problem for me.

Is there any linear phase unlimited band eq or minimum 24 bands eq?

Post

yeah, SplineEQ is affordable and linear phase up to 60 bands.

Not really linear phase, but try EasyQ http://www.rs-met.com/freebies.html it's my irreplacable fav.

Thanks.I tried it but same issue like Electri-Q with Cubase.

Any idea?

yeah thats true. you first had to get familiar with the slope approach but it's needed because of the Bézier splines SplineEQ use to create curves. it is the absolute smoothest method to create your own curves.
if you are still curious about it check this thread over @ GS there you'll find all answers:

I can not confirm that ElectriQ Poshifopit (Free ElectriQ) had major issues in Cubase. Then again, it was never really "further" developed. But it did get silent updates on Christian Budde's site.

AIXcoustic's ElectriQ however is pretty much discontinued indeed. But, it worked without problems in Cubase x86 (32bit mode).

I don't know what happened, but with Cubsase 6, pretty much all ReaPlugs stopped to work properly in Cubase. Had to drop them sadly.

Plenty - two most prominent ones are still Fabfilter Pro-Q (which can be switched to "Linear" mode) and DMG Audio's EQ's (most notably Equilibrium). They cost a bit, but are IMO the only EQ's that come the closest to old AIXcoustic's (Christian Budde's) design.

Thanks Compyfox,

Which eq should i use for headphone or room correction? I'm using Electri-Q with Samplitude but i can't use with Cubase.ReaEq is good with Cubase but it's not linear-phase eq.Is this problem?

Post

For room correction, people used 32-61 band fixed graphical EQ's. They sure as hell weren't linear phase.

Maybe a minimum phase EQ, or one that can be set up that way, might work for you. But don't quote me on that.

If you need a room correction system, maybe take a look at IKM ARC. Else, there is a video on Youtube where the video creator used Room EQ Wizard for analysis and apulSoft's apQualizer. Which is a 63 band EQ (non linear phase).

Whatever you use, is up to you. Personally I'd go the simple route (ARC). Unless you want to put some effort into it with Room EQ Wizard and the EQ's you have at your disposal.

Maybe try to redownload ElectriQ Poshifopit again, unless you recently snagged it in the last two weeks. Then I guess it's pretty much "dead end". If it's not working in a more modern Cubase, it got never updated. Can't give a lot of other freeware alternatives. Only costing ones.

was Electri-Q phase EQ really? i would say no problem anyway.. ..but before you buy a "very expensive" one you can try the ddmf EQ's http://www.ddmf.eu/or the glissEQ from voxengo http://voxengo.com.
