Can't seem to use it without midiclock, maybe I'm doing this wrong?
I can get audio from live instruments into effectrix with all my devices, no problem.
But the effects won't engage until I give it midiclock. Is there a way to just plug in and use it like a multieffects without a daw or midiclock running?
Please let us know if there's a resource beyond the manual, or a way to use any of the modes without midiclock?
Thanks

Midi Trigger is the keyword...
If you turn on "Midi Trigger" the sequencer will run as long as you press a keyboard button. This also works with an external midi keyboard.
Hope that helps

That is great Vincent, thank you...so this will work with the onscreen mini-keyboard at bottom right of screen as well?
Thanks again, this is good news

Jeez sorry Vincent but I'm not getting the effects step sequencer to run by messing the the onscreen mini-keyboard. It's just selecting different setups per key...what am I missing here, could you be more specific?Sugar Bytes wrote:Yes, onscreen keyboard, external midi or virtual midi...
best,
vincent
Thanks a ton man

you have to activate the midi trigger mode by pressing the small button above the keyboard... (manual, page 11)
