My guess....
NORA= Not Ordinary Randomizable Arpeggiator
So it's an Arp capable of some generative and random patterns.
Looks to be interesting, if the workflow is intuitive.

Everything has been coded in native C++. End of the raffle, Nora announced. Thank you!deastman wrote:built in Synthedit.

So it's similar (in the core functionality) to what Catanya does ?

I don't know it, but judging by its web/videos, yes. Nora can do everything it does.

Yes, that's what it means. The Demo will be avaliable the next week.yellukhan wrote:"Synchronized with DAW"

Sounds great, the concept of Catanya is brilliant, but it lacks quite a few features. At least Nora seems to have a sync to DAW feature.squaredheads wrote:Yes, that's what it means. The Demo will be avaliable the next week.yellukhan wrote:"Synchronized with DAW"

Does Nora support the following?
* Velocity for individual notes.
* Controller lane for automation data.
* A "note probability" (0-100%) setting for each note.
* Multiple patterns, with the possibility to chain patterns, or manually select a pattern with a key switch + random pattern selection.

It's planned for a future version.firepile wrote:* Controller lane for automation data.
No. Can you explain this? How should it work? Why is this useful?firepile wrote:A "note probability" (0-100%) setting for each note.
Personally I find this a key feature that Nora must have. We've developed the data structure to support this already, however we need to create the interface for the final user. Before we make it we need to think how should be the best approach. I'd like to discuss this with you after the release.firepile wrote:* Multiple patterns, with the possibility to chain patterns, or manually select a pattern with a key switch + random pattern selection.
We like to hear suggestions, and this will be implemented in a close future. Nora's main editor supports it already (not avaliable in the first release).yellukhan wrote:if you are accept pre - suggestions : "Multi Channel"
