As always, looking for feedback, comments, criticism - you name it. Also, given the lively discourse re: the definition of modern ambient music, what say you, sirs and madams and KVRians - what genre is this?

Wow, nice. Beautifully executed.
Love your chosen sounds and how well they all blend together.
The production shines and is very pleasant to listen to.

I hear a repetitive, cyclical progression not much unlike a blues/rock progression.
It`s a slow tempo but I can definitely hear a marching rhythm.
So...is it a progressive march? Maybe an anthem?
The breaks break down to almost an atmospheric ambient but the lead instrument is still creating a melody, and it progresses forward, not static like a slow moving atmosphere might move. So it gets too close to new age for me, considering everything.
It`s structurally better them common new age and I actually like it, sort of...but not a lot...I just don`t get off much on this style. I liken your style to 'Chronos'. You may know him from Ambientonline? I really liked his 'Inspirational Power' cd enough to order it when he introduced it. He is new agey but also chillpsytrancey.
I like psytrance somewhat. So maybe I mean psybient? Who knows. :)

I find Ascendant having a similar style, but Ascendant sounds more new agey to me, just too many rainbows. :)

Really nice job on this track though, no matter if it`s a favorable style for me or not.

EDIT - Listening to the other 'Source Transmission' tracks now it hit me...your style is more similar to one of my favorite cds of all time, B-Zet - 'When I See' ;
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... when+I+see
I`ll have a more focused listen to ...Transmission' now.
EDITII - I can see that listening to 'Source Transmission' as a whole experience changes my perception of it. I`m liking it much more this way. :) But hey...it`s no 'When I See'. But i`m liking this more... You know 'When I See' don`t you?
....................Don`t blame me for 'The Roots', I just live here. :x

Hey - thanks Annode. That means alot. Yeah, it's hard to get the big picture just hearing ind. tracks sometime, I'm glad that you jumped into the full album for the immersive experience.

B-Zet - WOW - that's a blast from the past. You're talking about the mid-nineties artist/album right? German I think? I never owned it, but I had a friend who was into that whole stuff w/ B-Zet and I want to say Sven Vath and all that. I'll have to give that a fresh listen.

Cheers.

I've been playing the CD today. This track is one of my favourites, but I probably said that about the previous tracks. It's good here on the monitors, but I think it much sounded better from the CD/DAC via the main system earlier. I thought that the mix/production was clean and smooth, and the synths sound lovely, especially those higher, reverbed bell-like sounds.

Good work :)

Beautiful chill track. It has an emotional introspective ambience that lures you into a state of meditation. The backing pads remind me of some of David Helplings music. And a unique and thoughtful project name. Well done, keep it coming. :)

And we will! Stellar commentary, thank you so much.

The collaboration between Phase47 and myself is seamless...when listening back to the tracks on the album it's difficult to decipher where each other fit in. Truly magical.

Really glad you enjoyed it! Many more where that came from...

A lot to like with this track. Nice mellow melodies to push things along. Interesting percussion. Compelling synth sounds. The part around 2:53 where the bottom drops out and with a light rhodes solo over the top of pads is lovely. All in all a very enjoyable listen.
