Just wanted to announce a new set of analog modeled tape style delays for Max for Live, Dub Machines.
It's part of a new small company I started called Surreal Machines
Video with sound examples
This first release is a bit of a test and so the plugins are at a very affordable price considering the attention to detail they have and what we believe the quality of them to be. We hope that one day we will be releasing some plugins in VST and AU formats. The plugins are coded in gen and it's not a big stretch for us to branch out to VST once we get our name out there.
Give them a listen and tell us what you think.

Just a quick heads-up that you've misspelled the URL to Surreal Machines. Clicking it takes you to a 404.
The effects sound lovely. Best of luck with your endeavour

thanks Dave! Did you play around tweaking them at all? Love to hear what you think of some of the ways we decidedly choose to do things differently than the re-201. For example, did you find the reverse button, and the character section? What about the pre and post reverb options?

hey Matt
yes I have
but not much yet
i been resampling a load of drum loops i prepared for a gig
just using the lovely saturation
will be spending more time when i finished this....
i think we are going to be spending a lot of time together
i think Diffuse is rather special too
i just did this vid 'cos people wanted to know what it sounded like...
may do individual tutorials soon
if you not mind...
dave
fwiw i think the 201 was a pain to set up and unreliable results followed
things like this capture the spirit
i think this sounds better than mine did
'cos it sat in the corner of the room for 2 years

Hey that's great to hear! btw the "signal" insert presets for Magnetic are made just for saturation.

Just had a quick look at Dave's video. I'll be picking these up should I ever upgrade to Live 9! Also wanted to give props for organising the presets into insert and send categories. Why has nobody else thought of or done that?

Have been experimenting with Diffuse as my main send verb

Bought them and have been playing with them this afternoon - these are really excellent. My only critique is they take a while to load first time and some stereo panning controls would add to the spacial effect.
