Hi all,

I've made two songs for the upcoming short film by Mario Quintana titled "Melancholic", both songs having a quite different feel. The two songs are titled "Wander" and "Past". In the end, it's "Past" that's used for the film.

Here are the links to souncloud:

And soundclick for "Wander":

and "Past"

Last, here's the trailer of the film:

Overcommpressed piano :love: Nothing can ruin the tune as this one.

Overall it's pretty and lovely composition, just sound quality leaves something to be desired. Pretty much every instrument has some noise in it.

Both tracks are beautiful.

@DJ Warmonger: many thanks for listening and commenting. I used a soft piano sound, therefore it may sound a bit over compressed and cause some noises :) This is something that I still try to solve, thanks for reminding. Glad you like the tunes.

@andrew71: cheers mate, appreciate it..!

I couldn't really choose between them. I thought that they were both excellent pieces. I liked the volume-pedal guitar on here. You should persuade these guys to make longer films :wink:

Good work :)

@seismic1: haha, many thanks for the kind comment, Tim, much appreciated. Well, who knows, maybe the other one ends up being used in another film? :D

As for the volume-pedal guitar sounds, I actually couldn't find a good sound for it so I end up using another sound which is pretty much similar. Indeed I quite like such sound because it gives a bit of a dreamy vibe.
