yes, you need to make sure to watch those calories!

I am having navy beans, and surprisingly good cornbread..Only surprising in that it was baked in a new cast iron skillet and was testing out how well I'd seasoned it.

Heh, it's the sugar I have to watch, being diabetic! :P :P :P

Just polished off a sausage muffin with egg and my second cup of coffee. :hyper: Well, I threw out one side of the muffin.. removes 1/2 the carbs..

Sounds pretty good, I'd have to skip the apples, though.

But every day is a good day to get juiced! :hihi: :drunk:

Chili chicken - super tasty, spicy but not overly so. From a hole in the wall up the road called, of all things, "Chicken Lollipop" - in the back of a convenience store that sells over 50 microbrewed beers!

I love Austin!

You actually like BBQ sauce on pizza? It took me a while to adjust to white sauce, but I could never stand the tanginess.

So send us your hospital's address and maybe we can send you kickass culinary weirdness so that you don't waste away to nothin for lack of nourishment.

Like Sriracha - hospitals don't give you Sriracha , do they? Helps growing bodies 12 ways.

Make sure you make an unbreakable deal with someone to get you REAL coffee twice a day - hospitals don't like to give you real coffee because they're superstitious about caffeine. It's decaf and usually lukewarm. Last time I was in a hospital I nearly went psychotic for lack of coffee.

The sweetness of the BBQ sauce is pretty mild.. it mostly has a smokey bite to it, nothing super-powerful. It did bring out the flavor of the pork, though!

I didn't like the ones I've had in California, but here in Texas they seem to have figured it out, at least for this version.
