If the JB Smash Pro is still available, it was made free and is a good multiband one, adds considerable latency though.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/34713525/Audio%20effects/BeBee.rar -here's one I made in Synthedit
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/34713525/Hobocite.rar-Here's one I made in Synthmaker, sounds kind of weird, hence the name hobo-cite
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/34713525/MaximumBC.rar a multiband exciter I made
The other ones I know(knew) of are probably long gone, Clas, RGC high frequency stimulator, M-Gain
Oh yeah there's the Terry West one, which is similar to mine as I told him how to make it

Here's another decent free exciter:
http://bedroomproducersblog.com/2013/02 ... maximizer/
Low CPU hit and it works rather well.

Cool, good to see you around Theo. I actually do have a Facebook account, but I don't use it.

I love Mildon Studios Provoc Exciter.
Unfortunately they have taken down their website.
I really hope it goes online again. For the case it wont (wich imo would be a shame),
does anybody know another website where it's possible to download their (legacy?) freeware?

I did a translation of Liteon Sonic Enhancer JSFX; I was really pleased with the results so I made my own VST plugin. Vive l'open source.
