Looking forward to diving in! Just bought. And userser have audio demos of what they have done?
And, how long to get it registered(it seems to be, a matter of the dev, handling the reg. process manualy)?

Some strange sounds out of this, I can see how it might be pretty useful for sound design stuff!

Sounds interesting. Looked at the tiered pricing structure. Closed page.

 Yeah, they did have a $115 version! But I love the sounds and it seems pretty endless, as for what can be done. And I've been saving for it, fore some time, and I was willing to pay the full at $215 at the time, an extra $15, was no biggie. I did get it registered, and it was very simple .

So is it worth the money? I checked this video out and it seems interesting enough.

Some of the sounds would be perfect for sci-fi style sounds

Also have you tried running this through something like Crusher-X? I'm thinking of the crazy soundscapes you could make, although I imagine that setup might blow a computer up

Here are some soundscapes I made with Cosmosƒ over the recent years, haven't upgraded to the new version yet as I haven't touched the plug-in for longer, so I'm not sure yet if I'll stick with version 2.4 which is a free upgrade, or get into Saturn which has the new pitch quantization features. Cosmosƒ is a beast, it needs time to learn and it needs patience to tame. It produces audio clicks at certain settings and does occasionally crash, but it certainly is a totally unique instrument. Unfortunately the old Cosmosƒ-thread was deleted due to censorship issues, but now we have this new one. EDIT: the thread is still there, but it's locked.

I think so far, but I've only used about an half hour, so I've got a lot of learning to do. I've not tried, Crusher-X yet, but it looks very good! There are many great granulars out there, I hope to get as many as I can find/afford. Layering granulars can get amazing results.
also, checkout Simon's demo video:

Oh, for a VERY reasonably priced granular, The Mangle.
(its about $30 and its still in Beta which means, your paying for a beta, but I've had no issues with it )

I think last time I tried the demo I was put off by how much of the interface wasn't actually touchable with the mouse - you had to use keyboard commands for most things which was an instant turn off. Has that improved?

I read a bit, of that. Hmm, I've good dealings with, him, so far. Seems good to me. Yes, Reaktor is amazing, it a goal of mine, to buid a granular in it.

Ah, I thought that thread had gone, so it's still there but only locked...better so.

Well if you guys both enjoy it then perhaps I may have to check it out.

How stable is it? I saw the clicking complaints in that thread i posted, but i read that it can be fixed by "learning" how to use the thing haha

Thanks, Simon :) I just posted two, of your vidoes, they are very good! An yes, read some of the comments about you and the Cosmosf dev. As for my dealings with you and the SonicLabs team, I've got nothing but good vibes. As for senorship, yeah, the thread, did not merit a lock but I've not reas the whole thread. As for the comment about you, very unkind. Sorry to read that.
