I like multiband units like saturn. Dan worral has a video on YouTube where he saturates bands with different algorithms and tone shaping (per band) and it sounds pretty good.

I also love maul on bass, but you really have I mix the dry signal in to resemble the original signal in any way. :)

IN ableton Live 8 Suite I have "Tube". its all tube and its not warm. Its is moderately cool/warm.

Also waves CLA-2a is moderately tubish and warm/cool.

What you want to do is try adding a saturator for warmth. But you do straight up need a tube emulator for tube like ABleton live to pull off just tube. Other tyhan that you need a compresoor saturator, preamp plug or the like that emulates both warmth and tube but once again right now the only things that comes to mind are those. The LA2a and the "tube".

Waves Renaissance stuff is real warm. If it doesn't say tube, it probably isn't.
Ableton Live 8 Suite 64 Bit, Sylenth1 64 Bit,Rapture, Zeta+2,Synthmaster, Dimenison Pro, Mo' Phatt. and Waves plugs.

I really love the Brainworx Saturater. V2 was released recently, I think it sounds fantastic imo.

Tru, it 'aint cheap, but it's really amazing. After you remove it from your track you really do miss it. Definitely one to demo. :)

Aren't they all ?...

Truth is that there are a LOT to try before shelling out the dough.
Rocksonics' “Saturator” is the first that comes to mind (like Softube's "Saturation Knob" - but without a knob :D)

Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

But some are better then others. :D

Also, that's why I say it's definitely worth a demo. It does something quite special to the sound. The youtube demo doesn't do it justice at all tbh.
