People that assume on the internet are generally not quite right in their assumptions ;)

If you need serious, you'll get serious. I don't like long replies because I believe it's important to make a point and move on. However, sometimes, you need a bit more.

I certainly am not arrogant enough to assume someone is just trying to make up for some bullshit just because they post long posts.

If someone has something to say, lenght should depend on the subject, no ?
Then, for those who have nothing to say, making it short won't help that much.

As a reader, I read with interest long posts if there's some valuable info inside, as I can appreciate short punchy takes as well. Writing talent is not directly related to the amount of information you can extract from a thread. And a wrong point written by a talented writer remains wrong. My .002

After all, according to a reputable KVR specialist, it's not the length, it's the width that matters.

Yet again, others insist it's all about technique!

I say screw all dat, it's the mojo that matters.

The Twatter phenomenon has already reduced communication to almost meaningless. I suspect the next big thing will be to communicate with grunts and gestures cos it's' "quicker". As you can guess, I do not concur with the OP. :hihi:
