I always found FFA months to be the hardest.

it's like starting with a blank chalkboard (in a way...)

I find them the easiest, but they never seem to get anywhere in the voting
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

Time for a new frying pan or experimental crow track! :hihi:

Just finished a new song (doesn't have any lyrics but still, I'll call it a song). Now I'm just wondering whether I should submit it to the contest or not since it's not very "summery"...

Post

Sure, why not?

Indeed. It is a free-for-all ... doesn't say anything about summer ('What summer?' you ask) :D

Sure it's free for all, I'm just trying to find an excuse to not make people feel depressed during the best time of the year :D Nah, the real reason why I'm not sure about participating this month with this song is that I'd have to cut about 40 seconds out, which isn't going to be easy. Oh well, upping the tempo is always a possibility

Well, my entry's in: Back from last week's 130+ BPM disco foray and returning to my comfort zone (which usually means more like somewhere between 88 and 108).

This is a semi-retro sonic exploration in the "Cutting Edge Easy Listening" genre. And since it's a genre of my own invention, I can define and redefine it pretty much any way I like... :tu:

Oh, and if it wasn't for the 3 min limitation this one would have been faded out over an excruciatingly long period of time -- so, lucky you! :troll:

In and . . .

Remembering a storm in 1976 here - authorities told everyone to duck & cover with a tornado warning. I melted, crumbled and then smoked some Lebanonese "finger" hash and went out. The torrential downpour had turned to a warm rain, the wind was still and the sky was very bright yellow-brown. I was at the moment; certain that nothing could hurt me
Fade to just last week when over 25 people died in Bosnia from the weather
I don't understand how either of these things really happen/ed
The soundtrack to this conundrum is my submission this month

In , nothing to say really about my entry.
Hope there will be lots from all over, that's all.

I'm in this month :hyper:

In view of the way soundcloud is treating it's paying contributors I'm a little disappointed that so may entries are posted there. I've been using the Internet Archive for years. It's free, and you have more control over how your work is presented - Oh, and they don't keep trying to push commercial 'recommendations' at you.

OK, rant over

I'm in too - with something summery, including a field recording made beside a small local stream in Hampshire (not the one in the photo, which is in the Peak District)

Post

I'm in! Am I in? Did I mess anything up?

I usually post my tunes to the Reaper forums, but I decided to sign in to KVR for this competition.

There seem to be some interesting tunes up already. Have to take a closer look tomorrow.
