For a long time I thought the best guitar solo album was Ernest Ranglin's early 2000s jazzy solo Below the bassline, lot of classic riddim Ranglin played on in the 70s re-lick with a jazz approach. But then, there's been a lot of good stuff coming out of Virgin Islands and this man Tuff Lion is a regular guitarist on a lot of record coming out of there and his album Ten strings is just magnificent.
