i tried the demos and they seem pretty nice, fast and easy. i compared my t-racks opto compressor with the p&m one and somehow i couldnt achieve the same result with the t-racks one (same settings) as the p&m and i preferred the p&m sound more. is it normal? :D
cause im thinking about getting one of those, or would you say it's stupid as i have t-racks, ultrachannel & my lovely WAVES RennCompressor.

Did you get this?

Most likely the best free compressor there's ever going to be... it's actually got two different compressor modules I think (I've got it, but haven't really tried it)

I don't think any of the P&M things are going to be great, about a year (maybe more) ago they gave a away a plug in exchange for a facebook "like", I didn't really like anything, I chose "Monster Boost" but I don't think I've ever used it.

For every P&M plug there's likely to be a free alternative that's just as good I reckon.

I also have the IK opto compressor and I quite like it, but I find myself using the P&M optical more and more because it's much faster to find a suitable sound.

Hello geroyannis,

It is one of the key elements of the series, that users can get great results fast.

Nice to hear your positive comments.

Was there just some kind of sale on the P&M plugins or something? There's been a TON of threads about them lately.

A lot of threads... all from this same guy :hihi:
(nothing wrong with asking questions about plugs though, that's what KVR's for)

... But yeah, I was wondering what happened to incite intrest, I don't think any P&M plugs are anything special

Hello itneveris,

The main reason for all the activity might be that there is the 3.1 version that seen the light of day. There are 45 plug-ins in the VIP Bundle now.

And to celebrate this Plug and Mix has decided to lower the price for the VIP Bundle to $199 instead of the $299 list.

Maybe that has something to do with it.
