I ended up getting the VIP bundle over the weekend after running across the other two P&M threads… there's definitely a handful of very useful plugs in there -- moogy filter, multi-tap, the leslie, both verbs, the sub enhancer, degradizer or whatever it's called, the amp sims, stereolizer, choruses, etc. etc. Only ran into two problems so far… 1.) all VU meters are glitchy, don't update smoothly in reaper, and 2.) the ambiosoniq (graphic eq) has a major issue when running multiple instances… seems it might be using a global data buffer or something... as running one on a muted track and another on a non-muted track but with no audio data (or silence) will cause audible distortion on the second track… there should be total silence as there is nothing being fed into the second instance, but you can see data coming out in the output meter and hear the static… says to me the two instances are sharing some bits somehow… Other than that fantastic value! :tu:
You need to limit that rez, bro.

It brings the VIP Bundle collection to a total of 45 plug-ins.

Take a look at the news on the site.

We have a promo going until the end of June where you can get the 3.1 VIP Bundle for $199 instead of the regular $299.

strange thing, i demo'ed the optio compressor and compared it to my t-racks opto compressor, i couldnt get the same sound with the t-rack one like the p&m. strange? i somehow like the sound of P&M more, i thought having more control in t-racks gives me more advantages?

Hello Caine123,

Glad to hear you like opto compressor from Plug and Mix.

There are literally hundreds of variations of opto compressors plug-in emulations out there.

It is all just a question of a person's taste to which one pleases one person or the other.

Some of the best sounding hardware was and is ultra-simple, two controls that's all.

How many times have we all played around with a multitude of controls for hours just to find the original preset does the trick and sounded better all along.

Best Regards,

Nick
