Three tracks, two with three players, one with two: three then two then three. OK, catchy titles maybe I should leave to someone else... :)

I'll start with the last track first. I put on my headphones to check on the mix and just grooved through the whole track (if I were that way inclined, I'm sure I'd have danced...). Lovely smooth funk. I think it's probably the best I've sounded in that idiom, I'm usually wa-a-ay too tight (or completely off). ste and I had been working out before mik_eee joined in, and his lead just adds some great moments:

Speaking of the rhythm section, I'm adding the earlier workout, just to show how much help ste was in getting me to sound funkier:

Finally, partly to save multiple posts from the same morning's jams (for comparison with the above) but also because it's another example of the joy of chance NINJAM encounters, people I'd not had the pleasure to make music with before. qulf on bass really got me in the mood for some grooving and rash adds the lead line.

Sunday was a completely different kettle of fish - experimental freeform - and is yet to be mixed... it'll probably end up as two one hour chunks...

I just played the first two tracks. That was a decent groove you had going on the first track. It definitely felt like a basement rehearsal with all participants in the same room.

Good work :)

....and the third track wasn't too shabby either. I loved the guitar on there. These recent pieces seem to be "tighter" than the tracks you posted a couple of years ago, if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks :)

I've been getting better, definitely - but a lot is down to the other players and there are more and more people using ninjam, which is great.
