Hey Vurt.
Yeah...sounds logical. Vurt sez; Quote: dunno tho but its got some dirt in it
Do you mean that I should clean it? Anyhow,I was waiting for a first reply to this thread to say this;(not wanting to bump this up) Listening to this...I think it sounds like "funky/hip-pop"to me now. What i`ll do is just get a rapper kid for rapping in it...and go funky/hip-pop apeshit for the rest. Aside from this,i`ll be suprised if this gets another comment before it rolls off the page. ---- "For many individuals with mental illness, creativity is a valued and central part of their identity." |

Think it will go that route, even though I HATE hip-hop...I`ll try to do better then the average with it! That`s amazing you said that, cause I saw that asking about the outcast synths and it occured to me that this does sound somewhat like the one outcast hit I heard in some respects!
In someway but not sure how, since I only know of the big hit on tv. I`ll look into those bands too....but after I`m done w/this...don`t want to copy. ---- "For many individuals with mental illness, creativity is a valued and central part of their identity." |

i think its the funky quirkiness it just has that happy go lucky sound i associate with their stuff i think obviously you do know that soon were both going to be burned at the stake for even daring to draw a comparisson but i still stand by mine ---- look for the true freak label. do not!feed the vampyr. chemically-enhanced-djinnetically-engineered-bio-divurtisy |

Sounds like a good basis for a song.. But needs something upfront to come in from time to time.. I can imagine some stoned-sounding German woman doing gesprechtsangen over this I like how organic this sounds, like Vurt. ---- Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist. |

Hey there griels!
Yeah a melody will have to come sooner or later. I`m beginning to think of this as the chorus now,and as a chorus of a song,it`s kinda hooky now. If only I can come up with a verse to fit this..that would be a big step. I don`t want to use this same beat pattern on the verse, instead,i`m thinking of playing my midi drums to come up w/a new one.(more 4/4 time) I`ll also kill the tonal res on all the kicks in this pattern except for the double kick.(it`s just tooooooo annoying!) Thanx also for liking the earthy textural sound of it too! ---- "For many individuals with mental illness, creativity is a valued and central part of their identity." |
