That'd be a "Futzi", also used of small children. My colleague, who sturied Germanistik says that this might explain why Wu(t)z(z)ln (there's no agreement on spelling) came to mean "drehen" or "to roll", because little babies tend to roll around. I've been wondering about the etymology.

Calling someone "Futzi" in Bavaria, might end up in hospital because it means "annoying, stupid person"... :o

I listened to Spanish (rock and pop) music and La Oreja de Van Gogh, and then Chile wins? :o

Good result. It shouldn't have taken as long as it did for teams to suss out how to defeat that tikataka nonsense.

There are so many really good group games. A shame, but it'll revert back to the usual 1-0 drudgery once the group stages are over. I really am loving it all so far though. I'm still hoping England get through, but TBH, it' s irrelevant cos they won't stand a chance against the good teams (and some of the "smaller" teams are showing themselves worthy this year). I haven't even seen an Argentina game yet...are they all they're supposed to be 2014?

Argentina played much of the game against a good Bosnia-Hercegovina team in second gear. When they decided to up the pace, they looked very good indeed. I think they could win this tournament.

Shakira, Shakira!

I'm listening to Colombian music now...

(But I have to praise the music of the Cote d'Ivoire, too, which is very tropical-relaxed and a bit slower than Colombian music - it's just that I don't think they're able to win against Colombia!)

I'm already celebrating in Montevideo - a bit fresh and sun goes down soon but with a long-armed shirt it'll be a nice evening... 8)

(Okay, I admit, I'm stuck in Bavaria, but I don't trust in the English playing techniques, they were better 40 years ago...)
