I havn't found anything that says you can't sample the furby. I just thought it would be funny to use the sounds.. and i'm surprised EDM producers aren't doing it.

Might want to circuit bend it just to be safe.

You probably also didn't find anything that says you cannot use it to smuggle cocaine, yet that still is forbidden.

Copyright seems to me (but IANAL) straightforward in this case. The sounds are original recordings, and there's no possibility of public domain, hence you can't copy without the copyright owner's permission. Use in music might be something else, transformative, art, etc., but the artist could still be at risk if they caught the ire of Hasbro. And the risk in this case is: personal bankruptcy, if only because litigation costs can run very high.

Simply put: don't. It's not worth the trouble.

Yah she looks kind of young in these photos. Shes 34 though.

I really like her art style though! That distorted style reminds me of HTDA artwork

What's the story about copyright/sampling these toys? If they have samples inside, should be illegal to sample them or am I wrong?
Anechoic Chamber Screaming :o

If it's pre-recorded then it's a no-go. That's why technically only some of the 909 can be legally sampled...
