VST closest to Virus A/B?

Does anyone know of a simple vst that has the same configuration as a Virus A or B?
I have several hardware synths, but like to use VSTs while writing my songs to keep the maximum flexibility in midi and sound design. At the end I recreate the VST patches on my hardware and record the midi to audio. I have a Korg MS-20 and Nord Lead, and use the MS20 VST and DiscoDSP as placeholders.
Nothing I find on VSTs seem to really match the virus (Albino, Z3ta, etc). Sonic Foundry has the Sickness, but that is only for Ableton.
Any Virus clones out there besides Powercore (that cost a lot)?
Thanks

ah... not Sonic Foundry!

(looks like it is sample based anyway - not really an emulation)

I see sometimes (because Powercore is discontinued) cheap Cards with at least a Baselicense for Virus on Auction places. As stated i also think that as native VST Sylenth or now Spire (which i find personally more versitale) is "closest" to a real Virus (A/B).

Yes, Spire comes to mind, but that's more geared towards the multi saw machine that is Virus TI. You should give it a try though, and apparently they've also modelled the filter after a Virus. And I always found the filter response of Khz One to be somewhat similar to the old Virusses (but not the same though).
Anyway, I had a Virus B (until I sold it), and what's funny is that most of my old analog synths now have plugin replacements (SH101, JX8p, Alpha Juno), but there isn't something to drop in for a Virus B.

Suriv B which you can get here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CBAU3F-A_8
You need Reaktor Fullversion to use Suriv B.
Or Predator (Not a perfect layout match but similar).

Can't believe anyone haven't mentioned Synthmaster yet...haven't tried Dune 2 ,but i'ved tried Spire ...all of those synths i mentioned have a very similar architecture.
in terms of features, here is all from the Access Virus C (very similar to previous versions):
-1024 slots/8 banks
-32 voices
-3 osc + 1sub osc (66 waveforms/sync/FM/Ring Mod./Shape control/PW/Balance(mixer)/running free oscillators
-noise generator (color select)
-two multimode filters(series/parallel/split/post filter saturation/Bandpass/bandstop/lp/hp/balance levels
-two envelopes
-stereo vca
-3 lfo (68 waveforms ,variable/randomness variation,S&Hold,S&Glide/
-saturation[filter]and distortion[FX](various curves/shaper(similar to fm)/rectifier/light,soft,middle,hard,digital(hard clip),bit reducer,samplerate reducer,lowpass,hipass
-effects(chorus/phaser/distortion/reverb/delay/Ring Mod./analog boost/eq
-32 band vocoder
-modulation matrix (6 sources/9 destinations)
-arpegiators (16 multimode)
-unisson (spread voices stereo)
-punch ("snappy" envelope atack)
...Now you must think...does my soft synth matches the same features? and how about the filter emulation? is it close enough?how about the oscillator? make some comparisons ...i found this one:

The OP asked for Virus A/B and the synths mentioned seem to focus on Hypersaw/Supersaw which was introduced with the Virus TI (except we are talking about synths with Unison and there are many of those...).osiris wrote:DUNE 2, Sylenth, Spire
So the question is about which Virus we want to discuss as the TI includes tons of additional features...
