^I thought Rabies was okay. It wasn't what I was expecting. It wasn't great, but it had its moments.

I enjoyed Tempest because of Cassavetes.

About to watch: Cookers.

"Hellbenders" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1865393/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Comedy horror about a team of misfit exorcists who sin heavily in order to trap demons. Clancy Brown exhibits impressive cussing skills. I liked it.

Cookers: Worth a look.

Next: Last Train Home. [Edit: Pretty good.]

Finished True Detective. So worth it,
I watched something called Atlantis. I admire the intentions, but it was pure hokum. Good effects could have saved it, but - no.

Was, wasn't it. Even if I had to use google to find out what the last couple of lines of dialogue were, couldn't get through the accents at all. :hihi:

The BBC 'Merlin' replacement? Yeah, I think we made it through two episodes.

I don't know if I made it past one. I just remember really hating it.

The Raid 2 'The Best Action Movie Ever Made'? Could be.

Breaks new ground in brutality and sets the benchmark to alarming levels.

The fight choreography is mind-blowing resulting in truly arresting scenes. I really hate those fast cuts seen in the vast majority of action flicks that chops the fight and really disconnects you from the scene. Not here. The camera seems to dance fluidly with the combatants.

It's unexpectedly stylish overall and shot from well chosen angles.

The first Raid was a great actioner, but this one right here is way better in all aspects. The third one is in the making.

Is that a requirement to be a good action movie :scared:

I'm currently watching Cannon on youtube, an action show from the 70's, I enjoy it because the protagonist rely on intellect, not brutality.
