I'd like to see them have track preset function similar to Sonar. I haven't really messed around with this since 7.5 so correct me if C7.5 can do this. In Sonar I can have a track template that brings up a multi-out VSTi with all outs assigned, named, all instert/FX etc... in place and with any preset loaded or none loaded. One track template can bring up a whole drum set mix ready to play.

Yeah - the instrument rack - weird. Replacing, adding or deleting an instrument all require bringing up a menu which is only accessible by right - clicking on a certain unmarked portion of the GUI. Why not have a button with "Menu" on it or something that gives a visual cue.

Clearly this sort of operation is only for the cognoscenti - they don't want nubes adding or removing instruments - no sir!
