Parasite Eve is an interesting movie... especially if you know/played the game by Squaresoft (Square-Enix), which is actually based upon it.

I actually went ahead and watched the first 4 EPs of Season 03 of Avatar: The Legend of Korra as well. Big mistake, now it's down to waiting a couple of weeks for more episodes yet again. And then half or 3/4th a year for Book 4.

Guitar center sessions. Finishing up "the 1975" which I started some time ago. Tonight will be "311"

I think I used to hate a bunch of these  But once you get away from the ones you don't like (like cake) they have gotten really good. The music is good, the stories are better.

"down" is still their best song :phones:

I really enjoyed this. Two more down to earth type bands, one "old school" in how they made it, one VERY "new school"

Highly recommended.

Found Parasite Eve so-so. (Never played the game.)

Watched the first episode of The Strain. Also so-so. Don't know that I'll watch any more.

Next: Journey to Italy.

"Legendary Amazons" - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2106514/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Oh boy. Just what me and the missus needed, a big action-packed wuxia pian with dozens and dozens of WARRIOR PRINCESSES! There's something I like about beautiful women flying through the air with swords (or spears or halberds). Starring Cecilia Cheung, who is not my fave but has been in some of my favorite wuxia films - but that is entirely made up for by the casting of Pei-pei Cheng*, the grande dame of all female wuxia action stars, as the Great-Grandmother General Warrior Queen. It's bright, it moves fast, my wife was saying something about feminism...

Cecilia Cheung (Mu Guiying, the Bandit Queen) proposes to her husband-to-be.

*Consider adding "Come Drink With Me" (1966), by King Hu and starring Pei-pei Cheng, to your watchlist. One of the first real wuxia films. It's wonderful. Shaw Brothers has done an excellent job of digital restoration on this and a couple of their other early classics like "36th Chamber of Shaolin". Not the crap prints I used to see on the Deuce.

Pei-pei Cheng was also the villain, Jade Fox, in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon".
