Here's one for those who can happily listen to repetitive shifting sounds for long periods of time. Turn this on, kick back, close your eyes, and let it wash over you. Good speakers or headphones recommended.

Please let me know how the mix sounds. This is the first track I've done since getting ARC 2 in an attempt to better hear the frequencies that were definitely not well represented in this room before - so I've no idea if this is a complete mess in every room other than mine.

Nice mix. I didn't notice anything unusual. I like the slow, relentless bassline coupled with those moving pad sounds. Nice percussive sounds too. The piece is giving me images of a procession moving slowly through the mist.

Good work :)

Thanks! I'm glad to dig the track, and it is good to hear that the mix is sounding good on your end too. :)

It all sounded good here on my hi-fi speakers.

Very meditative and well executed.

Thanks! :)
Great to hear that it is translating well on hi-fi speakers too, and not just studio monitors.

I really dug the funky groove in this one. The percussion, bass, and synth arps work nicely together. Mix sounded fine to me. Hats and other high freq voices seemed pretty crisp. Bass sounded nice and balanced.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear it sounds good for you too. :)

Looks like all the investments I've made into my home studio over the last year are working out. (New monitors, new stands, ARC 2, and bass traps.) Finally a setup that sounds good to me, and to others. 8)

Nice, classy and atmospheric track. It sets the mood and production wise it's really good. A bit repetitive though, but I know it was the idea. ;)

Thanks :) And yes, I was trying to see if I could create something highly repetitive and yet still keep it interesting enough by shifting things slightly. The overall idea was kind of for it to work as a background soundtrack while you sit back and let your thoughts drift. This is actually the shorted version. The first rough draft was 20 minutes long. :hihi:
