Which version of Tracktion comes with Behringer interfaces now?

Hi,
I just purchased a Behringer interface and it should be arriving soon. Is the license that comes with this for Tracktion 4, or do you now get a Tracktion 5 license since that is the latest version of the software?
In addition, does Tracktion load REX files?
Thanks!

I recently purchased an FCA1616. It gave me licensed access to T4. I already had that for a few years.
Way more than adequate and it had many useful Mackie plugins.
You can then upgrade to T5 for $29.95 if you desired, but you're on your own for plugins as the T4 Mackie ones don't work in T5.
Sorry don't know about rex.

Hello Metrognome
I think you meant T3 (Mackie)
T4 was the restart of Tracktion with Jules and the Tracktion Software Corp.
bharris:
In any case, T5 is worth the $30 upgrade fee if you get a T4 from Behringer. Since I upgraded to T5 I have had several updates, each one better than the previous one and all were free.
I picked this up from the Tracktion web page. Click on the bottom where it says REDEEM. "Behringer customers you will need to register your product with them first and receive your code via email. If missing, please contact Behringer for assistance." It looks like you'll get whatever Behringer's code is good for so there may not be any way to know until you hear back from Behringer.

Yeh, 'theoldguy', I stand corrected. I've had various T's on several computers.
As the old one dies and I start over with a new box the iterations sometimes confuse me as
I AM "THE OLD GUY"!
Being three months shy of 74 I could benefit from a memory upgrade....

I am in the same boat as you, being 4 months shy of 75. Perhaps we should found an institution named "Ancient Society of Aged Tracktioneers." Let me know if you find a good price on that memory upgrade.
