I didn't realize V/H/S was actually 3 short films all tied together. I thought the premise was creepy enough, but the last film was the one that made me say 'wow'
Saw a sneak preview of Constantine and all I can say is whoa....But now, I'm VERY upset I have to wait until October for this. This is the Hellblazer I know from the comics. The fx are INSANE. Lots of 'Lost' alumni here, so some very good actors. For the record, he DOES smoke, they just don't show him. One scene in a bar starts with him stubbing out a cig. This gives me high hopes for a really good Doctor Strange.
The Last Ship has become the lost storyline. Yawn.

I Am Divine. Great. I met Divine in the 80's, back when she was on a concert tour and she signed my jeans. I wish I knew where those jeans were.

The Strain

Everything seems pretty top notch, except for the actual writing.
Stupid logic holes every five minutes...
But great production value, good acting, good casting...
Could get better, could get worse.
But its sci-fi on tv, so itll probably get cancelled either way. :P

No, it's on FX. I don't think they cancel anything....
(especially by DelToro. This is prestige for them)

Like you all said, "True Detective". But I have to wait until Wenesday for the 2nd disk, and Saturday for the last.

I could do without the Woody Harrelson character's soap opera though. It's by-the-numbers cop show stuff and way less interesting than the other stuff.

Haha funny, I came here to say I'd started 'True Detective', about to watch episode 4.

I've been so impressed with with Matthew McConaughey recently, he's like "I'm done with being a jobber... I'm going to start being an artist"... and wins an Oscar, even his little bit in 'The Wolf Of Wall Street' was a highlight.

Gorky Park

Nobody can beat British filmmakers to this kind of political crime-drama, pure class :tu:
