It should be capable of playing files from CD, CD-R, DVD, USB port, SD Card slot

Support for various PC file types
.wav
.aiff
.mp3
.mp4
.flac

etc.

Does such a product exist?

There are, but I'm not sure there's a single one that will cover all of those file formats.
Tascam are the big boys

Other brands available.
The alternative of plonking a laptop/tablet on a pull out rack tray with lockable cover makes me wonder if these things days are numbered.

Thanks Jim Y. That Tascam is very close to what I had imagined, but 300+ for playing CDS? I was also hoping to find something that could accommodate any standard internal 5.25" SATA DVD Drive since CD/DVD lasers don't last forever. A used Windows OS laptop would be the logical alternative to the Tascam, only its not 19" rackmount.

This is the cheapest I found there, but it only has USB with disc. Search for more.
This has SD...

Tascam have always been expensive, but they're pretty much industry standard, so you're paying for the "safe" name, as usual.

Last year my ca 1990 Sony CD player died, I bought an LG BlueRay player of ca $80. Has a USB port, should work with a USB -> SD-card adapter, plays most common music formats. And is 19" !!

I'm guessing any DVD/Blu Ray player can do this.
