Tree-based is okay, but for a synth presets are pretty important. Especially compared to mix tools like EQ. It might be a good idea to think about compatibility and the practicality of upgrading the preset system to be more advanced later if you don't want it to hold up the release. I just find synths fascinating since they are basically individually programmable instruments. Anyway, it's just my opinion, do what you will with it. I'm happy enough with the Total Bundle that I'll likely buy your synth regardless when it comes out.

I think it won't be needed for this one and the next one (yeah 3 are planned! ), but the last 3rd one will have it .
