Hi all. this is my entry for the Simion U+I remix competition.
The genre is deep house i guess.
I only used the vocals and write all my own beats and make my own synth patches.

That was interesting. Liked the bass sections but not so much the vocal sections.
Don`t know about 'house' song structure, but when the bass is introduced, all the rhythm components are also introduced at once. It never gets a chance to build a groove, at least as good as I believe it could have been.

I would have introduced the synth-bass and then added percussives then broke it down to a solid groove and rode that until the break.
Like Kraftwerk does it with 'Music Non Stop/Techno Pop'. I know this is electro, but listen to how they build and ride the groove;
