I'm starting to notice the limitations of Essential. One big feature missing is formant shifting. Is the formant section in Kerovee the same thing, if I were to automate it in conjunction with Essential's pitch shifting?

Also, what else am I missing out on?

your version has already the formant correction

Formant correction is what prevents pitch-shifted vocal up to sound like Mickey mouse
and pitch-shifted down to sound like Darth-Vader

unless you wanna go Weird like Skrillex.. tweak the formant will render a vocal quite artificial

The biggest difference is in the "sszz" sounds - Kerovee is very bad at processing them.

Kerovee + Melodyne Essential = Melodyne Assistant?
