It's the lead sound starting from the very beginning.

I've experimented with two sine waves (one sine wave an octave up, the other an octave down) but I still don't have a sound that I'm happy with. Any advice?

Sounds more like a square wave to me, there's definitely lots of harmonics so its not just a sine.

Post

Yes, the only sine thing might be the bass :)

Sounds like a somewhat complex sound, maybe square and triangle, plus saturation/distortion or some sort of modulation (because sounds almost too clean and regular for saturation/distortion).

Take two square oscillators. First one plays C0, second one plays two and a half octaves higher, i.e. G2.

Put a slight lowpassfilter on it, enable glide, add delay FX, add reverb.

(You may add more oscillators at C1 and C2 to fatten the sound up, but their volume shoule be significantly lower than the first two oscillators)

Interesting, so easy. I though it would be much more complex. Sounds even better when syncing the oscillators, at least on my synth here.

The oscillators are definitely phase locked/synched, giving that slight rasp to the sound, and preventing any detune beating between the two oscillators.

Ok good tip, I will also try sync enabled

Edit: it's apparently on by default in SynthMaster
