Hi!

I'm wondering how to make this bass:

NOT the vowel bass, that's easy to do.

But the actual pluck bass that he solo's @ 0.47 seconds in this clip.

How do I make that? I've tried most of the things. This just sounds gritty but still pretty tight.

also does anyone know/can help with making these kind of funky basslines ? they seem to have some secret in how to make it funky like this. ITS REEEEEALLY funky. is there any swing involved?

OK after some research I came to the conclution that you're using FL Studio and I'm on a MAC (using Cubase 7.5 or Logic pro X), so loading them mixersettings does not simply work for me at all :/ what do I do?

1:
Open Camel Phat 3, and use DRM Lofi Allstar preset.
2:
Use a reverb VST, do a little reverb effect.
3:
Add WOW VST to mixer
4. EQ + Sausage Fattener

When using the DRM Lofi Allstar preset, do you keep the Bandpass on? it thins out the sound so much imo.

And also in the WOW filter, do you keep banreject - Vowel on? thanks!
