Hi Guillermo-
I'm a longtime Cubase/Halion user. Is there any upgrade path for someone like me, or is the full product my only option?
Cheers

Hello,
Best regards,
GN
There isn't a Halion cross-grade option available, unless you have the previous Groove Agent 3, you will have to purchase the full Groove Agent 4.BERFAB wrote:Hi Guillermo-

Playing with it now, sounds pretty versatile, high quality samples, sometimes maybe a bit over-processed, but it's a huge collection and I've only touched the surface. So far the classical drums like Grancassa are my favourites, absolutely huge sound, my subwoofer is having a party here.

Hello,
On a completely separate matter a license that has been downloaded to a USB-eLicenser cannot be moved to a soft-eLicenser.
Best regards,
GN
The USB-eLicenser is required to run this product and it is not included. Customers who do not own an USB-eLicenser must purchase one separately.jumper24 wrote:Dongle ? or is it possible to move the license from eLicenser to the computer ?

I never really looked to the Steinberg plugs before even though I have loved every version of Cubase since SX2. But when HalionSonic2 came out, it was great. So I updated to Halion5 and seriously can't get enough of it.
So now I'm a convert. Even though I have every OTHER drum plug under the sun (and also get quite a bit of use out of the new Groove Agent included in Cubase 7.5) I may have to go for it and upgrade. Steinberg have really upped their game.
Cheers

update 99€ new 179€?
Steinberg's update/upgrade politics made me sell Cubase ... in this case i couldn't even sell Groove Agent 3. not even the upgrade price from EZ-Drummer v1 to v2 is so steep, though it's full of new and innovative features.
¡Adios!

The MSRP on GA3 was $250 if memory serves. So there's progress there for consumers. As far as the upgrade, $99 or EU doesn't sound all that out of line with similar products. AD2 is $99 for an upgrade that, frankly, doesn't really offer much more than the original.mellotronaut wrote:update 99€ new 179€?
