I'm starting a new project - an LKFS meter. The concept is that there have been some loud commercial mixes recently that sound great. The plugin component will be a free VST LKFS meter. My intent is purely research in developing an simple, efficient, LKFS metering plugin. There is a social media component related to the larger concept of the #loudnesswars, but this may not be the right venue to talk about that.

I've read over the LKFS whitepaper a few times and I think I got my head around what's going on. Has anyone had played around with this algorithm yet?

Right now I'm thinking of a simple number read out of the LKFS algorithm - maximum 2ch stereo. Maybe implementing a visual meter might be something fun to play with also. Thoughts for features? - I enjoy a challenge
