Definitely buying this.
Cubase 7.5, Halion 5 and this will be quite the trio. Well done Steinberg. :tu:

geez, what's with the bird nest beards and hair gel comb overs? Is that like a new company dress code?
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

+1

With Padshop pro and Retrologue rounding out the instrumentation, it really is quite an arsenal.

I believe that those are symptoms of the ASIO bug and the imminent deprecation of the VST 2.4 format.

A really cool feature of GA4 is the graphical animated interfaces some of the instruments come with, e.g. the percussion set Arms&Legs, so you click on the low conga picture and can then adjust parameters individually for each articulation (open/slap etc.) like pitch, amount of room mics and envelope settings. A much faster and more intuitive way of editing/tweaking than clicking your way through the sample and mixer editor. :tu:

Yes, just choose “replace sample“ in the sample editor and load a wav from any of you own folders. Very similar to the HALion 5 editor.

Do you plan on doing any kits/patches for Groove Agent 4?
Or, is it even possible?

Edit.. Seems like Groove Agent 1-2 owners can get in on the upgrade this week... :phones:

I haven't checked the vstarchive-export functions yet, if there is such a function like in HALion 5, I might consider it.

It will be available as a download and as a box version.

Looks like a total rewrite from the previous versions. What's left from GA3?
