Introducing the ODsay: Some of you may have never heard of this synth. Based on a classic 1970's analogue.... the ... sound ... is.... massive. It's not even on KVRAudio - in fact it's too phat to be on KVRAudio - but it's a journey, a ride. A trip through time and space. You'll never be the same, ever. Be careful. Actually you should hide your kids, hide your wife, because this synth is coming for you:

Extra Info:
Make sure your track is in accordance with the rules and named properly, then upload or share your track to our current SoundCloud group and write a post in this thread announcing your entry including a list of what you used to make it such as DAW/host, which effects, and how many instances of the synth and effects.

Good call!
The English language link might suit most members, though:
http://www.elektrostudio.ovh.org/?lang=en
Anyone looking for inspiration could do worse than to check out what Mac was able to do with the 'analogue pack' when it was first released back in '09 - before the Model Mini and Model Pro were introduced:
http://macofbionight.bandcamp.com/album ... ssic-em-08
Pity Robert took down his PayPal button though ...

Nice looking synth!
I'll have to bow out this month, though. Lots of stuff going on and I switched to Mac for all my music stuff, at least temporarily.
I can't wait to hear the tracks and vote, though!

Took a quick look at the built in presets after downloading it. I think there will be many good tracks made this month.

Exactly my thoughts This is going to be a really fun challenge.SirKen wrote:Took a quick look at the built in presets after downloading it. I think there will be many good tracks made this month.
Here's some data on CPU usage for my comp: 62 Instances @ 1 note, 35% CPU, 3GB ram;
I couldn't go any higher due to 32bit RAM limitations (Can use JBridge 32->32 to fix this). But it's decently CPU efficient.

Sweet!! This is a nice synth. Heck, I love all the Elektrostudio products. Thanks =D
Now then, [this month I will finish and submit a track. I'm going to try to work faster. The last couple months I ended up getting too burnt out on my track to finish it up to a submittable degree.
Not this time, dangit!!
I'm sure this synth will generated some very interesting tracks this month. Have fun everyone!!

Trying to determine if I want to use FL Studio on this one since I don't want to mess with the 32-bit bridge in Live. But that synth does look very fun! It just may be the thing to bring me back to FL Studio. The TAL one was fun!

Yes, please do, will make an excellent starting off point, and promise to change them radically so its not copying/cheating..animehaus wrote:Just created a few drums sounds, still adjusting them.mysticvibes wrote:Anybody managed to find other banks for this or make a decent kick?
