I noticed that the ToonTrack EZX expansion packs are or sale for $39.99 over at Sweetwater. I have not yet upgraded to EZdrummer 2 but plan to do so soon.

I wold like to pick up a couple of expansion packs and was wondering:

1) will they all work with EZ 2 and 2) what are some of your favorite EZX expansion packs? :D

1) There are updates for EZD2 available in your Toontrack user area, so yes, all your EZX will work with it.

2) Their metal kits are great, but Latin Percussion is extremely useful IMHO.

Indie Folk and Americana are two of my favorites - the kits sound fantastic. Metal Machine (John Tempesta FTW!) is very good as well, surprisingly versatile.

Thanks for the feedback - these do work on EZdrummer 2 right?

They do.

Totally depends on what sort of sound you're after - Americana, The Classic and Indie Folk are all "real" sounding, many of the others are more produced and ready to go for pop / rock / metal etc. Nashville is one I often come back to, incredibly diverse and useful as an all rounder, brushes are great too.
