Hi Sergio
Thank's for the video it was a great help.
As I suspected the issue was a result of my very aggressive CPU saving code.
Essentially when the Output Module is receiving a value of '0' directly from the
Sequencer or via a VCA it assumes all audio has stopped.
It's actually quite tricky to code an exception for this without affecting other modules.
The best fix I can come up with for now is to restart the audio engine from a MIDI gate
so your Sequencer to Output patch can be kept active by simply playing a MIDI key.
I never conceived of connecting modules in that manner
You are without doubt a brilliant beta tester.
Also, can you tell me what program you use to make the video?
Version v.041
http://www.datafilehost.com/d/e7304c99
NOTE:-
This version onwards now uses wavetables of 64 waveforms instead of 50 for better
future compatibility. If you want to keep any wavetables you made so far you can
still load them into the editor but you will have to fill in the last 14 waveforms and then
save the wavetable before playing it from the synthesizer panel.

When I click "download" for both versions of the synth, I'm taken to a blank page with a menu frame on the right.
EDIT: Well, on the left, actually.

Hello Kirsty,
here is me again with another small headache for you
After testing i found that the sequencer LED display doesn't correspond to the actual steps,i'ved used my signal analyzer and after twisting the Steps "Length" knob and incrising the voltage of each 16 step knobs ,after some visual observation ,i wrote down on paper the step values:
"Length"knob Value Real Step led step display
0 1 1
7 2 2
13 3 2
19 4 3
25 5 4
32 6 5
38 7 6
44 8 7
50 9 8
57 10 9
63 11 10
69 12 11
75 13 12
82 14 13
88 15 14
94 16 15
As you can see the step values are not correct / do not correspond to the actual step.

Thanks Sergio
I'll fix that next version. It's just a simple float to int rounding error.
Also, the knob value display (little yellow box above knobs) is just a hangover from earlier
development. As they all range from 0 - 100 I'll probably turn it off eventually.
Apart from some bug fixes the main change in this version is that I've modified all the graphics.
I've increased each module by 8 pixels so now I can have all inputs on the left side
all outputs on the right side and knobs/switches etc... in the middle.
It provides a much cleaner look and helps prevent a spaghetti of patch cables
all over the GUI and allows me to pack more functionality into some of the modules
to free up some extra rack spaces.

As I don't have a Modulation wheel on my little Akai keyboard, can you tell me if the MW output
on the System module is working. Maybe plug it into an LFO rate input or something else to test it.
Thanks Kirsty

At home is only where I use PC / FL Studio - I use a roll out keyboard.kirsty roland wrote:CoolMaomoondog wrote:Looking good, still sounding great, thanks for the update Kirsty

Hello Kirsty, no, the modulation wheel doesn't seem to work on fl studio...I have linked my controller to Midi CC#1 (modulation wheel) on Fl Studio and no signal (CV) is coming out from "MW".kirsty roland wrote:

Note:
CC#1 is the general CC assignement to link the Mod wheel on every VST
This is how i use mod wheel on fl studio

Which one?sergiofrias wrote:PS :One more thing i've forgot ,can you please fix the "PAN" ,doesn't seem to control anything.
The pan 'module' is actually two. One above the other like the VCA(s).
The 'pan' knobs on the output send the signal to the effects panel where every effect is independent stereo, but controlled by the same knobs.
I'll add some sort of separator lines to make things a bit clearer.
I'll try to fix the mod wheel support for fl studio but even to download the 350mb demo is a big deal for me.

Hi Sergio it's me again
Here is a possible fix for the system mod wheel output, mapped to controller 1.
http://www.datafilehost.com/d/cdf47cc2
Please Select Patch program No 10: Modwheel test.
I have connected the (MW) System Mod wheel output to a VCA
to act like a simple level control.
When you increase the Mod Wheel on your hardware controller keyboard
it should add the LFO vibrato to the oscillator pitch.
Hope it works. If not I will try and find some sort of MIDI hardware
keyboard simulator that I can use to test MIDI Mod Wheel messages.
Thank's for your invaluable help.
