DNA is the set of two hundred arp loops created on the basis of the Ultra Analog VA-1's arpeggiator concept.
Despite the seemingly limited possibilities of the instrument's arpeggiator, when skillfully conducted, the synth seems to make miracles.

I don't post very much here at KVR, but I wanted to take a moment to praise the soundbanks Daniel has created for the Ultra Analog VA-2 synth.
He is most certainly in the same small league of top preset designers as Nori and Aiyn over at SynthMaster's KV331 or those who created any of the best presets you'll hear on u-he's Diva.
In fact, it was the last couple of banks of his that I bought that actually helped me decide that I have no real need to purchase Diva anymore. I purchased the new version of Ultra Analog recently and hadn't time to realise its full capabilities until I played some of the presets from Daniel's Starlight and Moon collections. The sounds he seems to pull out of this synth so effortlessly are extremely fine and demonstrated to me very quickly this synth's exceptional abilities. Pads are complex yet sometimes subtle and the Arps and Sequencing he's created are well beyond anything I could create. I simply can't recommend these soundbanks highly enough -- they have really brought the Ultra Analog alive for me. Because it was a new purchase I just didn't know this synth could do so much and do it so well. So far, I think Starlight is my favourite bank, but I intend to buy at least one more of the ones he has available.
