Apologies if this has been covered, but when your search terms involve "video" and "movie", it's hard to pare down the results!)

I am working on a soundtrack for a film. I want to add the .mov cut I've been given to my Arrange window. In Ableton or Cubase, you pretty much just drag it in and it works, allowing you to work with a little hovering window containing the footage.

I can't find a way to do that with Bitwig, but I am new to the software so I might be being unobservant. If there's no inbuilt way to do it (and yes, I realise this next request is a bit pie-in-the-sky!) has anybody made a script that can connect the timecodes of the sequencer and a video player?

Thank you

There is no video support in Bitwig yet.
You can output Midi Beatclock via the Generic Script "Midi Clock Transmitter" but it is not MTC, so no absolute sync.

For Windows there is a VST from the BUZZmachines Software that works very well here.

For Mac, another user recently reported success with the rewire VST:

He synced Live to Bitwig and used it as a video player.
