I always liked the sounds used in early Ambient and electronic music.
I wondered why I did not hear many of these sounds being replicated with soft synths.
Sounds like Brian Enos Yamaha CS-80 synths from his early ambient recordings.
Some of those great Moog, EMS, Oberheim sounds that have vanished.
Also, Cluster had some great sounds, Vangelis, etc...
I finally just decided to make them myself.
This tune was made using them.
Enjoy!

Nice sounds coming from Diva, and the track is a great demo, if a little short. The bass was very nice and warm sounding, especially over the first 40 seconds.
Good work

Thanks Mr. S,seismic1 wrote:..The bass was very nice and warm sounding, especially over the first 40 seconds...
Good work
That was a Mini Moog emulation, no EQ or effects.
I would usually add some compression to a bass track but the dynamics turned out just as I had hoped so it is bare naked.
Still mixed well to my surprise.

Nice moody tune. I dug the vintage vibe. Sounds great.

Thanks, been going threw my Jean Michel Jarre and Tangerine Dream discs and digging the old hardware sounds.
Now I am working on some of these for soft synths so I can use them more often.
Love those TD ARPs!

Thank you!satYatunes wrote:You have really captured the mood and style that you have mentioned in your post. Loved it.
I have been doing a lot of listening, research, sound design this week.
Got some interesting re-creations on the way.
